TDI-swapped Mk1 Caddy and VR6 Corrado, both cars for which I have an inexplicable soft spot. There is a very real possibility that I’ll own this Corrado someday. Old man owned, bone stock, we’ve worked on it for at least 20 years. I have personally edited our Corrado Bentley manual more times than I can count upon finding that the wiring diagrams and component locations are comically incorrect. I should share those edits sometime. Even VW doesn’t know what they built, but damn I like them a lot.

That’s the 2.9 right? I drove that gen VW Golf 2.8 a lot during college, I really loved those. The sound in such a “small” hatchback, the torque, awesome. Get it!
